The purpose of the Job is to achieve set production targets of the Lamination Unit in each plant.

- Ensuring quality with minimum waste and safety measures.
- Ensures production targets are met.
- Ensure daily shift goals and metrics of the lamination jobs are met with process adherence.
- Ensure lamination jobs are done to approved specifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality that meet given customer requirement to avoid customer complaints, also compliances to SOPs.
- Machine cleaning and assistance in machine maintenance.
- Continuous and ongoing process implementation and improvement.
- Participate in Audits, training Local employees & implementation of SOPs.
- Communicates quality metric to staff.
- Provide assistance in Development of New Products and support to customers.
- Good in GMPs and must have worked in ISO quality management systems environment.
- Perform Quality Control checks.
- Ensuring effective utilization of all resources including the Human Resource.

- Ensuring Inter-department workflow is smooth and well coordinated.
- Working process knowledge of lamination (solvent base & solventless) for multiyear Flexible Packaging manufacturing.
- Hands on experience of Solvent Base & Solvent Less Lamination machines is a must.
- Knowledge of adhesives and films used in multilayer Flexible Packaging.
- Oversee and manage the lamination lines, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality production processes.
- Allocate resources and manage shifts effectively to meet production schedules while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
- Promote a team culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and safety.
- Work with the production planning team to develop and execute detailed schedules for lamination processes, ensuring timely delivery of finished products.
- Monitor and track production progress to ensure that deadlines are met, and resolve any delays or challenges promptly.
- Review and manage production orders to ensure that the required materials, machinery, and labor resources are available and optimized.
- Identify opportunities for improving lamination processes to increase output, improve quality, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
- Manageing Daily, Monthly reports, records, Production, Breakdown, Adhesive, Solvent consumptions.
- Knowledge of SAP or any opearting system recodring for production data.
- Material management and Reconcilation of Adhesive, Solvents, Films, WIP, FG etc.
- Daily monitor of Input, output, wastage, consumptions.
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory for the lamination machines, ensuring that critical components are always available.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the lamination processes, including machine breakdowns, material inconsistencies, or quality issues.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of operators and technicians in the lamination.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and skill development to improve team performance and ensure high production standards.
- Oversee and manage the Slitting dept, monitor output, wastage, reconcilation of input and output, maintaining daily, monthly records.

The Job purpose of the direct reportees is to achieve the overall Production targets of lamination department as per the agreed costs and norms.
