Job Summary: The Factory Manager is responsible for the overall management of the manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production operations. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing operational performance, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.The Factory Manager will lead cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, improve productivity, reduce costs, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

- Oversee daily factory operations and production activities.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet business targets.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Manage factory staff, including supervisors, technicians, and production workers.
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Manage raw materials, inventory levels, and production resources.
- Prepare production reports and performance metrics for management.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintenance & Asset Management
- Ensure proper maintenance and reliability of machinery and equipment.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Minimize machine downtime and production interruptions.
- Coordinate equipment upgrades, repairs, and installation of new machinery.
Financial & Cost Management
- Manage factory operating budgets and control operational costs.
- Monitor production costs, waste levels, and resource utilization.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Support financial planning and capital expenditure proposals.
People Management & Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop the factory workforce.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of employees.
- Foster teamwork and a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
- Build leadership capabilities among supervisors and managers.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:

8. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management

- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role in a factory environment
- Experience in multinational or large-scale manufacturing companies preferred
